This article at Yahoo cracked me up.
Its about how some townsfolk and housing associations are arguing about whether or not people should be allowed to hang their clothes out to dry.
It cracked me up because my grandparents put up a fence around their clothesline out of modesty so that other people wouldn’t see their clothes drying! :-)
I think clotheslines make perfect sense, and while I’d probably put up a fence around my clothesline too, I don’t care if I see other people’s clothes lines. To me its a good sign, that someone is active and alive in a house, as opposed to those houses that you think someone lives in, but can’t be sure because you never see anyone coming or going. Spooky.
