Goodnight Shoes

I’ve been reading “Goodnight Moon” to my daughter over the past year and she loves it, so instead of saying “goodbye shoes”, I have to say “goodnight shoes”!

Goodnight Shoes

Goodnight Soles

As these pictures display, my “Onitsuka Tigers” which I bought in Los Angeles, California were some cool shoes, but they soles had holes in them. Doh!

My new DC Shoes are very comfy and just as cool, though less colorful.

Laundry and Clothes Lines

This article at Yahoo cracked me up.

Its about how some townsfolk and housing associations are arguing about whether or not people should be allowed to hang their clothes out to dry.

It cracked me up because my grandparents put up a fence around their clothesline out of modesty so that other people wouldn't see their clothes drying! :-)

I think clotheslines make perfect sense, and while I'd probably put up a fence around my clothesline too, I don't care if I see other people's clothes lines. To me its a good sign, that someone is active and alive in a house, as opposed to those houses that you think someone lives in, but can't be sure because you never see anyone coming or going. Spooky.

Sunglasses

Sunglasses aren't clothes, but as accessories, they fit into the purview of this site.

I'm looking to buy some new glasses as my old ones (a pair of Polaroid sunglasses) recently broke. I wore them almost everyday for the past three years so I they were definitely worth the seventy or so dollars I spent on them. I tried to fix them with super glue, but it didn't work. Too bad, because they fit really well and I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere.

Here are a few models I've found appealing:

  • Carrera Telesto Teli3 Polarized Designer Sunglasses $88 *
  • Suncloud Grid Polarized Sunglasses $50 *
